After DotA 6.60 was released, Icefrog recently released the following statements about PLAYDOTA:
This website is going to be an ongoing effort. The development philosophy here is similiar to that of DotA. Add basic content, get feedback, improve on it, iterate, etc. The primary development goal is to create the needed tools to empower the community to take it further. We would really like your feedback and thoughts on it.
